I believe you can read, understand, & apply God's word to your life.
I teach the Bible with a simple focus.
The practical application of Scripture that strengthens God’s people and forms everyday faithfulness.
I believe many people have been taught to treat the Bible as confusing, inaccessible, or reserved for experts. Others have learned to approach Scripture primarily through tradition, debate, or cultural pressure. But the Bible is not meant to be a closed book. It is meant to be read, understood, and lived.
My goal is not to build an audience. My goal is to help people become doers of the Word.
“Practical” means Scripture connects to real life.
Practical application asks questions like:
- What does obedience look like in my relationships, my work, and my decision-making?
- How do the commands of Jesus shape the way I speak, listen, lead, and serve?
- What does love look like when it costs something?
- How do I align my life with Scripture when culture and habit pull in other directions?
I am interested in faith that can be lived on a Tuesday, not just discussed on a Sunday.
A love-based faith is not sentimental.
Love is central to Christian obedience, but love is not soft. It is disciplined, truthful, and sacrificial.
Jesus made love foundational: love for God, love for neighbor, and love expressed through obedience rather than performance.
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”
John 14:15
My teaching emphasizes love because Scripture emphasizes love. Where Christianity becomes disconnected from love in practice, something has drifted.
What you will find in my teaching:
- Scripture quoted directly and treated as readable and usable
- Teachings centered on the commands of Jesus and everyday obedience
- Practical encouragement for discipleship, leadership, and spiritual formation
- A posture of clarity without unnecessary complexity

If you are new to the Bible…
If you have avoided the Bible because you feel you cannot understand it, you are not alone. Many people have been taught that understanding Scripture requires special training or the right vocabulary.
I do not believe that.
I believe that through patient exposure, approachable steps, and honest engagement, many people can grow in understanding and confidence. And I believe the Holy Spirit guides those who are willing to listen and obey.
